The modal verb dürfen means "to have permission."

May I go? You may.

Its simple past form is durfte and its one word subjunctive present form is dürfte. In the subjunctive, dürfen often refers to a highly tentative proposition.
 

Das dürfte nicht leicht zu finden sein.
That might not be so easy to find.
