Proper Adjectives

Adjectives denoting nationalities are called proper adjectives.In English, they are capitalized, but in German they are written in lower case.

Adjectives Formed from Place Names

Place names are made into adjectives in German by suffixing -er. Such adjectives are indeclinable.
