Superlative

Most attributive adjectives form the superlative by adding -st to the positive form.
Adjectives ending in -d, -t, -z, -ß, or -s add
-est:
Adjectives which take an umlaut in the comparative also umlaut in the
superlative:
The irregular superlative forms are noted in the vocabulary.
The superlative form of adverbs and predicate adjectives is a phrase beginning with am.
