Future
(17th of 38) |
In most cases, Germans use present tense forms
to convey future meaning.
When futurity must be explicit, Germans use the future tense, formed with the auxiliary werden.
The Future Tense with the Auxiliary werden To form the future tense, use the auxiliary werden in the front bracket. Put the infinitive of the actual verb in the end bracket.
Werden Meaning "to become" Werden means "to become" in non-auxiliary usage.
Its present tense forms are identical to those of the auxiliary. Its perfect auxiliary is sein. Its past participle is geworden: Ich diskutiere Sachen gern, ehe sie zu Problemen geworden sind. |
