In this section you encounter a second type of regular verb, attendre, in the expression j’attends ("I’m waiting"). Since the infinitive of this verb ends in –re (attendre), this type of conjugation is called the –re conjugation.

ATTENDRE—"to wait," "wait for," "expect"
